COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course, students refine both the conceptual foundation and computerized application of 3D modeling techniques and are introduced to 3D animation.
Prerequisite: CA2133

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objective of this course is to gain a good solid understanding of the intricacies of 3D rigging and charcter animation. Students will be required to pull from the knowledge gained in the 2D character animation class and apply these princeples to 3D characters. Students will experiment with bones sytems, wiring sytems and hierarchial animation. Instilling believable motion into the character is paramount for the successful character animator.

1. Create 3d models utilizing polygonal and nurb based modeling systems.

2. Articulate the major differences between polygonal and nurb based modeling.

3. Create low poly models.
